Road Routes
Our road routes aren’t flat like you find by the coast and they aren’t mountainous like you find in western NC. They are flat enough to enjoy with
just enough climbing to stretch your legs. We hope you enjoy it!
You will pass through lots of farms - hay, horse and there is also a large animal rescue farm on the way back in, they might even have a
llama or two! The roads are in good shape, beautiful scenery and above all …. Low traffic!
Route Highlights
- Friendly volunteers will greet you at well stocked rest stops.
- The friendliest Blue Knights will ride along on their motorcycles to help keep you safe.
- Our volunteer marshalls and sweepers, both men and women, will ride along with you and behind you in colorful jerseys donated by Pearl Izumi to encourage and help out if needed.
- SAG drivers and HAM radio operators are also on hand to keep you safe with efficient and quick communications!
- Police support will help with traffic control at two key intersections. Why aren’t they around most of the ride? Because MOST of the ride has low traffic plus … with our volunteer marshalls and Blue Knights, we have got you covered!
